Proactively Eyeing on Omnichannel Retail
As most brands dealt with temporary closures and uncertain quarantine conditions at the beginning of the pandemic, the New Era team kept themselves busy and made use of the transitory time window to discover and integrate an omnichannel platform to optimize their operations.
The New Era team had considered adopting other omnichannel platforms before, but it was an opportune moment for them to discover Omnirio. Citing their need for personalized training and continuous support, the brand found the Omnirio team’s “hands-on” approach favorable to their predicament.
Gearing Up For Growth
Omnirio’s plug & play capability helped the New Era team utilize the omnichannel platform almost instantaneously, and the support team aided in training their staff from the ground up.
Since the brand’s primary concern of inventory management was aggravated due to the closure of some of their physical stores, the team made quick use of Omnirio’s Inventory Management System to easily re-allocate all the unused stocks to their e-commerce stores.
“Selling stocks was not a problem – updating and replenishing stock was,” says Hazel Exconde, Senior E-Commerce Manager of Authentic Caps Distribution Inc. “We were missing out on selling sold out stocks from one channel but ended up having the same stock unsold in another.”
Onward into the Future
Through Omnirio, New Era PH has been able to align strong sales numbers with the capability of handling the order volume. Updating their inventory is no longer a problem, and e-commerce stores are now evenly utilized.
“Omnirio is very convenient and easy to use in terms of processing our pending orders and reducing cancellations,” continues Hazel. “As an effect, our order processing and SLA has greatly improved. Also, our team was able to cut the time in updating our stock levels by 100% within the e-commerce marketplaces we handle.”
Always looking forward, Hazel remarks that “another advantage of Omnirio is how accessible it is to organize the customer database to purchases. The CRM feature looks promising in terms of segmentation by their expenditures per channel – something we will also utilize as we transition to a new VIP system.”
